I was born April 27, 1985 in Morristown Memorial Hospital in New Jersey. I went to the Byram Intermediate School, and then later went on to Lenape Valley Regional High School. Around the end of 2003, I was accepted into Johnson & Wales University and in the Spring of 2007 I graduated with a BS in E-Commerce and Web Design. I'm currently seeking a full time job doing PHP development, and learning Actionscript 3 in my spare time because I would also like to work with that.
As long as I can remember, I have been messing with computers. My first personal system was a Pentium MMX 233mhz beast with a whopping 16mb of ram and a barn-buring Voodoo3 3000 video card. This computer primarily ran Quake 2, and the undisputed best game of all time, Ultima Online. Today I have a 2.2ghz AMD64 system with a crappy ol' graphics card and enough ram so that Photoshop dosn't choke. Dual monitors helps this situation out a bit, the system is more for coding than gaming.
Through grade school and high school, I taught myself HTML and a little bit of rudimentary Javascript, as well as learning how to use Adobe Photoshop 5.0. Until I got to college, 100% of my learning in web development was for personal interest. In addition to learning a decent computer-related trade, I also have always been a big fan of online gaming. My favorite computer related event, aside from a good trade-show, is a LANParty. I worked for LANParty.com for about a year and got to go to E3 in 2003 because of it. Of all the jobs I've ever had, this was the most fun, and also the worst paying
Contrary to popular belief, I do spend time away from the computer... occasionally. As a release from sitting around all day, I have recently become an avid cyclist. I have an old Shogun commuter bicycle right now, and at home I have a Giant Rainier for mountain biking expeditions. I also enjoy camping and any sort of outdoorsy activity as well, the Eagle Scout in me just can't resist a good campfire.
I also enjoy the study of ichthyology, or in layman's terms, keeping a fish tank. My first tank while a senior in college was a 29 gallon tank with an assortment of Gouramis, Tetras, and Rasboras. I'm currently setting up a 65 gallon saltwater reef tank with a 20 gallon sump tank, and having a lot of fun setting it up.
